Pellets or cat litter?
Here we thought we would advise you about pellets for those of you who are thinking about whether you should have cat litter or pellets for your home.
Pellets:
1. Environmentally friendly & sustainable alternative compared to traditional cat litter
Pellets are often made from recycled material, such as sawdust, and are biodegradable.
2. Pellets also have a natural ability to break down odors (keeps the litter box fresh longer) It is good for the cat because the cats want a more inviting odor-free box to use)
3. Pellets are dust-free, which means that it is better for both the owner's and the cat's airways, because dust from cat litter can be troublesome for the airways & cause allergic reactions - Pellets are therefore healthier for everyone's environment in the household.
4. Economically, pellets are better in the long run, even though some bags of pellets may be more expensive, they last longer because you only need to remove the pellets that are used and fill with new ones instead of pouring out everything that is in the box.
5. Cleaner home! Pellets make cleaning the litter box easier, pellets are bigger and heavier than regular sand and then it doesn't stick to the cat's paws and doesn't spread around the home :D
